Vitamin C Serum to cure all !

I want to give this Vitamin C serum a 10!!

So, I love vitamin C serums, creams and cleansers! My skin just eats them. I am over 40, but no fine lines or wrinkles but often have some unevenness and some light pigmentation. I have tried a lot of vitamin C, so was very excited to received a sample of the newly launch Perricone MD CCC + Ferulic Brightening Complex 20%.

First, love the packaging, it’s in a dark brown bottle, so glass, check, brown check. It means that vitamin C will stay potent. Also, it’s not the shiny brown glass bottle, but the matte, which feels better, more classy when handling the product. Then the dropper is also fantastic, this is a creamy serum, which is very different from the typical water like vitamin C serums, this implies a more potent and gentle formulation. Also, this has 20% concentration of Vitamin C, the highest percentage available to a consumer. It is combined with vitamin E, and Ferulic acid. These help to stabilize the vitamin C and increase its efficacy. They also work synergistically together with the vitamin C molecules to improve its effectiveness. I used a dermaroller prior to increase the absorption into the skin. My skin is brighter, clear and my pores are smaller after the use of this serum, while keeping the rest of my skincare routine the same.  I saw my skin was brighter and more radiant after 3 days.  I used it morning and night after my toner and essence.  Those with slightly drier skin, may want to use some extra hydration, such as Hyaluronic acid, as I find the more effective vitamin C serum, can be a tad drying to the skin,

It is pricey, about $150 for 2 Fl oz, but in line with similar brands, however, the creaminess is the serum is hugely different, as it’s more gently on the skin. The one tiny little thing, that I would suggest as an improvement, is the fragrance, not sure what it is exactly, but there is a slight fragrance, which I am not a huge fan of. Perhaps they can add some essential oil to mask it. It is hard to create an effective vitamin C serum, since stabilizing it a challenge. I feel Dr Perricone MD, has accomplished it with this product! Highly, highly recommend! Will be buying more.

I did receive this as a complimentary product and have provided my honest opinion
