Review: Theraflow: Dual Foot Massager Roller

So staying home to quell the spreading of this global pandemic, and focusing on self-care, I decided to test out a reflexology gadget.  So I am a huge fan of reflexology, and from my days in San Francisco, who indulge in it weekly.  This particular one, has over 11,000 reviews on Amazon and it claims to relieve Plantar fasciitis, stress, heel, and arch pain.  It is touted as the original shiatsu acupressure relaxation gadget.  It comes with complete instructions and reflexology chart.

So, there are a myriad of options when it comes to massagers, but I wanted a reflexology tool and one that is the least automated, and most true to its authentic nature, or one that I imagine they may have had in the olden days.

This particular one comes in two sizes, large and extra large.  I selected the large and it is the right size for most of my family.  The instructions are simple.  Use this, one foot on each side in opposite directions, for 10 mins twice a day.  For those, who are ticklish or sensitive, they may wear socks. I sat on the couch and gave it a go for 10 mins. I found it very soothing and relaxing.  I don’t have any pains or issues, but like to ensure that I am moving, even these small nerves, so that things will function well and I can prevent can potential issues.  I felt great, and I was slowly addicted to the twice daily schedule and found it very relaxing.  I recommend it to all, especially with all the uncertainty, its one part of self-care that we control and we can arm ourselves, by decreasing stress and build our immunity.  It is reasonably priced.  I also love the workmanship and I am glad I tried it.  I believe the original design was a “bed of nails” that is a little too archaic and sounds painful, even for me, so I will stick to this and report back with an update. Thanks again and let me know which other self-care devices or gadgets you enjoy 🙂
