First, @lux.elise deploys clean formulations. So, no irritants for our skin nor for the environment! They are also committed to reducing waste and their carbon footprint. Here are the foour products I received:
1) Double Helix Blue Eluxir – this is indeed a restorative superstar. It’s blue in color from the blueberries in it!
2) Celliferate Eluxir – this helps to calm the skin
3) Lipid Cue Eluxir – this provides and locks in moisture leaving you with silky skin
4) Hyp Haze Mist – this helps to cleanse and balance your skin
So, here are my thoughts.
This line is lighter in terms of delivery, meaning that these are NOT heavy creams or serums, but lights elixir (they call it Eluxir, a nice play of words, in line with their Lux branding.
The double helix is by far my favorite, it’s comprised of blueberries, Wamake (seaweed) and plankton. The first ingredient is blueberry ?! This formulation is concentrated, no alcohols, essential oils, mineral oils, talc, silicone, no synthetic dyes, etc, so they’re formulations are pure.

So, these formulation is super effective be used of the quality of ingredients, and no fillers. These are lighter, so using the entire system is advisable together. I’m not a fan of the algae fragrance, but glad they don’t have extras in it, that could irritate the skin.
They are targeting wrinkles by reducing photo aging damage, but using enzymes that they claim “associated with DNA health” I can’t see or measure that but this is a concentrated formulation, that is full of oxidants, from the blueberries, wamake and plankton. I know consuming these three has a huge impact on your skin, so with topical delivery is more potent.
So, I am a fan of the blue helix and saw visible results on my face. It retails for $44 for 1 fl oz, but photo damage is challenging to address, so IMO the price is worth it.
