Persian Love Cake

Dry ingredients

1/2 cup butter

3 tbsp oil

2 eggs or flax- egg

1 cup Sugar

1 tsp lemon zest

2 tsp lemon juice

2 tbsp rosewater

1 tsp vanilla

1 1/2 cup flour

1/2 cup almond flour

2 tsp cardamon (ground)

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp salt

 

Glaze

sugar

orange blossom water

rose water

Milk

 

Garnish

rose petals

pistachios

 

Combine all the wet ingredients until fluffy.

Combine the dry ingredients.

Add to a buttered pan and bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes.

After the cake has cooled, make the glaze.

Add it to the cake and garnish with pistachio and rose petals while the glaze is wet.

Enjoy after the glaze has set.
